Berdasarkan keterangan tertulis yang diterima dari BBMKG Wilayah I Medan, Senin, berdasarkan pantauan Sensor Modis (Satelit Tera, Aqua, SNPP dan NOAA20) terdapat lima titik panas di Propinsi Sumatera Utara.
Ke-5 titik panas tersebut terpantau di Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa, Kabupaten Deliserdang satu titik, Kecamatan Kota Pinang, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan satu titik.
Kemudian di Kecamatan Kwaluh Hulu, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara satu titik, Kecamatan Batang Lubu Sutam, Kabupaten Padang Lawas satu titik dan Kecamatan Halongonan Kabupaten Padang Lawas Utara satu titik.
Sementara terkait cuaca, secara umum pada siang hari berpotensi hujan ringan hingga sedang di wilayah Humbang Hasundutan, Samosir, Tapanuli Utara, Tapanuli Tengah, dan sekitarnya.
Sore hingga malam hari berpotensi hujan sedang hingga lebat terjadi di Wilayah, Samosir, Simlaungun, P. Siantar, Toba, Tapanuli Utara, Humbang Hasundutan, Karo, Toba, Langkat, Deli Serdang, dan sekitarnya.
Sementara suhu udara 22.0-33.0 derajat Celcius,kelembapan udara 60-95 persen, angin berhembus dari Tenggara-Barat Laut dengan kecepatan 05-30 km/jam.
